Lab Resources
In addition to many individual computers at Barnard and in Butler
Library, as well as several CUIT computers, there are three computer
labs on campus that are dedicated to GIS use. For more information
regarding the services offered at these facilities beyond what's
available on this page, please contact them directly using the contact
information listed below:
- Electronic Data Service (EDS), located in 215 Lehman Library (IAB).
- Services and Accessibility: Locating and acquiring spatial datasets, the use of GIS software, incorporating data into GIS projects, understanding how to geocode, and converting between different file types. Consulting services in EDS are limited to Columbia University faculty, staff, and students.
